I’ve been impressed by a national initiative that I was able to try out last week. It is a simple social application, using Twitter to promote a campaign for the NGO, Abrinq Foundation. I was happy to be the first one whose clicks led to a donation to the cause.

We startup folks have known for a while that nothing is better than social media for conversing about innovation and innovating conversation. Now it looks like Brazilian industry in general has become convinced of the importance of innovation being inclusive, participative, open and emerging.
This was what I imagined when I heard about the Brazilian Congress of Innovation in Industry, and I planned to attend the event to verify this. It will be held Wednesday August 19th at the World Trade Center in São Paulo. Read more…
