The morning of November 18th marked an event co-sponsored by Startupi, The Hub São Paulo and Microsoft SOL (Startups OnLine). The program included speakers on the subject of management support and access to credit for startups, and was part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (organized by the Endeavor Institute). The slogan for Global Entrepreneurship Week: Make It Happen! (Bota pra fazer!)

At this event Microsoft announced BizSpark One, a new addition to their program supporting software entrepreneurs. Successful entrepreneurs and investors talked about information technology, entrepreneurship, innovation,  management support and access to credit. Read more…

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which began today and continues through Sunday, Startupi has found another way to collaborate. Since I am the Tweeter for the event, and Startupi is co-promoting an event this Thursday, I wanted to extend the opportunity to collaborate with our Brazilian readers who are entrepreneurs.

Semana Global de Empreendedorismo (Global Entrepreneurship Week), with its slogan “Make it Happen” (Bota pra fazer),  is an event designed to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit. This year it is being held simultaneously in 90 countries.

In Brazil the event is being led by the Endeavor Institute, and there will be lectures, workshops, games, fairs and other initiatives taking place around Brazil, to help make you more enterprising.

Startupi will be participating in two ways: 1) I will be the official Tweeter of the Week, doing the coverage of several activities; 2) and Startupi has joined with the Microsoft SOL (Startups On Line) program and the system of innovation for social businesses at The Hub in São Paulo to promote a special event.
