Check out the video of this exclusive interview I had with the founder and CEO of the social network Sonico, Rodrigo Teijeiro, and with Country Manager for Brazil Alexandre de Freitas. Founded in Argentina, this OpenSocial-compliant social network has its largest user base in Brazil (9 million users). 

Recently, Sonico opened a São Paulo office - its first outside of its home country. Among the news announced for Brazil is a page for local content, the development of different levels of profiles (professional and individual), partnerships with media, and a mobile app.

The interview also touches on the recent partnership with Genius. And we should mention that recently Sonico contracted with Angel Gambino (Global Vice President of Music and Content at Bebo) to be their Vice President of Business Development.
