Monday at 4pm was the launch of the e-book “Everything you need to know about Twitter (you already learned in a bar).” As the title suggests, the electronic book is a guide to using Twitter. It was written by Juliano Spyer, with a preface by Marcelo Tas.
The author explains his work as “a practical guide for people and businesses.”
“There is no lack of information on the web about using Twitter. But the advantage of this guide is that everything - or nearly everything - is in one place, in an organized format, and in Portuguese. The whole file, which is Creative Commons licensed, can be downloaded, printing and distributed freely.
“Those who are interested and curious about Twitter will find much useful information in this guide. The beginning explains the basics, including step-by-step instructions to make sense of the service. Professionals can explore the tools for business, journalism, and political campaigns.
“More advanced users will find statistical information, tips on conduct, discussion of Twitter’s future plans, and an introduction to polemics related to the service. The guide ends with a list of recommended Twitterers to help enrich the experience of those just beginning to use the service.”
